Director/Producer

Vivian Kleiman is a Peabody Award-winning filmmaker whose work is noted for its challenging subjects and edgy filmic approaches. Her feature-length film NO STRAIGHT LINES premiered at Tribeca and was broadcast on the national PBS primetime series Independent Lens. A longtime collaborator with storied Black gay filmmaker Marlon Riggs, her credits include his landmark documentary TONGUES UNTIED. Vivian was recently awarded the prestigious Eureka Fellowship for Artists from the Fleishhacker Foundation. Vivian also taught at Stanford University’s Graduate Program in Documentary Film & Video Production.

Executive Producer

Robert Holgate is a long-time gay activist and philanthropist dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community. He supports the advancement of local and national causes, including the SF LGBT Center, New Conservatory Theatre Center, National Center for Lesbian Rights, and the Robert Holgate Pride Award. In addition to taking a hands-on approach to philanthropy, Robert is also the executive producer of award-winning films that illuminate LGBTQIA+ issues, among them No Straight Lines: The Rise of Queer Comics and 26.2 to Life.
